Growing up, I was captivated by the witches I saw in film and on television. Powerful, independent women who moved through the world with mystery and confidence. That image planted something in me early. I wanted that kind of presence. I wanted to make the impossible feel real.

My first real performance experience came at 18, working children’s parties as a princess character. It sounds like a long way from mentalism and corporate stages, but it taught me everything that actually matters: how to read a room, how to earn a child’s attention when you have no authority over them, how to make a story land in someone’s body rather than just their ears. The craft started there.

The path hasn’t always been smooth. Magic has historically been a male-dominated field, and I’ve run into my share of skepticism. There have been people who attributed my bookings to novelty rather than skill, colleagues who were dismissive, critics who had made up their minds before seeing a single trick. None of it changed what I loved about this work.

Magic, for me, has always been about the moment when someone’s face shifts. When something they were certain was impossible turns out not to be.
