Las Vegas is the only city in the world where a magician has to work a little harder just to be surprising. When your guests have seen Cirque du Soleil and the biggest names in the business, the bar is genuinely high. I love that. There’s no city where a great performance lands harder, because when something truly impossible happens right in front of people who thought they’d seen everything, the reaction is electric in a way you can’t manufacture anywhere else.
My story begins like most magical journeys do — with wonder. As a child, I was spellbound by the powerful, independent women who wielded magic on screen. I didn’t just want to watch them; I wanted to become one. That dream led me to my first professional gig at 18, performing as a princess at children’s parties. Those early audiences taught me the essential truth of this work: the trick is never the point. The connection is the point. The moment of shared astonishment between a performer and a room full of people — that’s what I’ve spent my career chasing.
The road of a female magician has come with its share of obstacles. I’ve faced skepticism, underestimation, and the particular frustration of having my work attributed to novelty rather than craft. I’ve been told, more than once, that the only reason clients book me is because I’m a woman in a field dominated by men. Those voices are boring to me now. The work speaks.
