Growing up, I was always enchanted by the idea of powerful, independent women who wielded magic in films and on TV. That fascination sparked my dream of becoming a magician. My first foray into performance began at 18, working as a princess at children’s parties. This was my perfect stepping stone, teaching me how to engage an audience and bring stories to life, creating an enchanting experience rather than just performing tricks.
The path of a female San Diego magician hasn’t always been easy. The magic industry can sometimes be unwelcoming to women, and I’ve faced underestimation and bias. I’ve been told my achievements were due to my gender rather than my talent, and I’ve dealt with dismissive comments and online bullying. But these challenges only strengthened my resolve. My love for magic is about inspiring people, bringing them joy, and recreating that childhood sense of wonder.
