Like many who fall under magic’s spell, my own story begins with wonder. As a young girl, I was mesmerized by the women who commanded magic on screen — powerful, independent, utterly enchanting figures who seemed to bend reality to their will. I didn’t just admire them from afar; I dreamed of becoming one of them. That dream took its first real shape when I was 18, performing as a princess at children’s parties. Those early audiences taught me something no magic book ever could: the trick itself is just a doorway. What matters is what happens on the other side — the connection, the laughter, the shared moment of impossible wonder.

The road of a female magician has come with its challenges. The magic world can be slow to change, and I have faced my share of skepticism and underestimation. I’ve performed in rooms where I had to rebuild my credibility from scratch despite a decade of international experience and television credits. Philadelphia actually prepared me for this in some ways — this is a city that doesn’t give credit just because you showed up. You have to earn it. I’m always glad to do that.
